Polly will be appearing solo at a special event at Tate Britain, as part of the Holloway Tales project initiated by Joe Murphy of Sergeant Buzfuz. ("On a Saturday afternoon in November ten songwriters assembled at different points of Holloway Road and spent the day roving around the pubs, cafes and shops. Their mission: to write a song inspired by something they'd seen, heard, experienced or imagined that day.") Late at the Tate curated by deXter Bentley presents Holloway Tales, Friday 13th April, Tate Britain (Millbank, London SW1), starting in Gallery 9 at 7pm.

At the ever-popular Under The Influence nights, each act plays two of their own songs plus one song by the featured artist of the month. We've previously played on the Nick Cave and Captain Beefheart nights; this time it's R.E.M. Other acts on the bill include Allman Brown; Domestic Aroma; Kit Sam Kirr; Mick Terry; My Mate George; Nat The Hammer; She Makes War. Under The Influence @ The Boogaloo, 312 Archway Road, London N6 5AT. Monday 19th March, 8pm, £3 entry.

Polly will be appearing solo as part of the 'Holloway Tales' project, presented by Blang at the 12 Bar Club: "On a Saturday afternoon in November ten songwriters assembled at different points of Holloway Road and spent the day roving around the pubs, cafes and shops. Their mission: to write a song inspired by something they'd seen, heard, experienced or imagined that day. Tonight they present their songs." Monday 9th January, music starts 8.15pm, entry £5.

After ten years, the wonderful monthly Blang nights at the 12 Bar Club are coming to an end. We're honoured to be on the final bill, along with Sergeant Buzfuz, All The Queen's Ravens and deXter Bentley. The 12 Bar Club, Denmark Street, London WC2. Phil Ochs tribute gig

We’re playing at ‘I Phil Therefore I Am: a tribute to Phil Ochs’ at the 12 Bar Club Denmark Street, London WC2 on Wednesday 21st September. Among the other acts appearing will be former Ochs guitarist Bob Rafkin, as well as Bilkis, Teresa Disken, Adam Donen, Gus Garcia, Jack Hayter, Hungry Dog, Jason McNiff, Simon Onions and Simon Stanley Ward. Doors 7.30pm, entry £6.
