Monday 20th May: Under The Influence of Eurovision

We're big fans of the monthly Under The Influence nights at The Boogaloo, so we're delighted to have been given the chance to guest host the night on May 20th. The theme will be Eurovision, with each act playing two of their own songs plus one Eurovision number. Friday 8th March: Milfords

Our first gig of 2013 - and our first gig in ages - will be a Dogfishtrombone night at Milfords, London WC2. Also on the bill will be Sister Mercedes, Chris Macorkindale and Hungry Dog Brand. Upstairs at Milfords, 1 Milford Lane, London WC2R 3LL (off the Strand). Friday 8th March - doors 7.30pm; Slate Islands on around 10pm. £5 entry.

Monday 21st May: Under The Influence

Nat The Hammer's excellent Under The Influence nights take place on the third Monday of every month at The Boogaloo. This month the night takes on a Eurovision theme, with each act playing two of their own songs and one Eurovision number. Other acts on the bill include The Big Fibbers, My Mate George, The Lucky Face, Colossal Youth and Falldownlooseleaf. Sunday 17th June: Mycenae House

We'll be playing a full-length set. Support act will be the wonderful Jo Quail. Tickets £6 (£5 concs) on the door - or you can buy them online in advance from TicketSource for £5 (plus 50p booking fee).  Mycenae House, 90 Mycenae Road, Blackheath, London SE3 7SE. Polly solo gig, 13th April

Polly will be appearing solo at a special event at Tate Britain, as part of the Holloway Tales project initiated by Joe Murphy of Sergeant Buzfuz. ("On a Saturday afternoon in November ten songwriters assembled at different points of Holloway Road and spent the day roving around the pubs, cafes and shops. Their mission: to write a song inspired by something they'd seen, heard, experienced or imagined that day.") Late at the Tate curated by deXter Bentley presents Holloway Tales, Friday 13th April, Tate Britain (Millbank, London SW1), starting in Gallery 9 at 7pm.
